someone was asking me the other day, or maybe they were just wondering aloud, “is depression something that passes with time or do you have to actively fight it?” the answer, my dear friends, is to fight really really hard. it’s like struggling for air when you’ve been sucked into a current. you don’t know which way to swim but to just follow the bubbles up if you can see any. it may seem aimless and impossible at first no matter how hard you struggle, but bubbles in life will point you in the right direction.
